Fridays 9:30-11am Registration ($14/per class ~ Drop-In $15.00) Please register with Jeannie by email firstname.lastname@example.org or at first class When we approach yoga from a place of mindfulness, we are able to connect with our own personal truth. This class will introduce the student to the basic philosophy of yoga and will include asana (yoga postures), basic pranayama (breathing), meditation or chanting and relaxation. Instruction will be given for both beginner and advanced students and all students are encouraged to work at an appropriate level. Restorative and Meditation Tuesdays 5:30-7pm Registration ($14/per class ~ Drop-In $15.00) Please register with Jeannie by email email@example.com or at first class This class will provide a safe environment for you to gently slow down in order to develop mindfulness as a way of reconnecting with yourself. This is a gentle class using supports (blankets & bolsters) to assist participants in achieving a variety of simple positions intended to open and to relax the body. Basic breathing exercises will be introduced as well as a variety of relaxation and meditation techniques.
