MINDFULNESS YOGA

Tuesdays and Fridays 9:30-11am  
Registration ($14/per class ~ Drop-In $15.00)

When we approach yoga from a place of mindfulness, we are able to 
connect with our own personal truth. This class will introduce the 
student to the basic philosophy of yoga and will include asana 
(yoga postures), basic pranayama (breathing), meditation or chanting 
and relaxation. Instruction will be given for both beginner and 
advanced students and all students are encouraged to work at an 
appropriate level.

2017 MINDFULNESS YOGA for MS ~ Fall Session

Dates: Thursday, September 14 & 28; October: 5 & 19; 
November 9 & 23; December 14, 2017

This is a FREE gentle, chair based class, working with range 
of movements, breathing, meditation and relaxation.  
Students are asked to respectfully work at a comfortable level.

How to Register:

Hello Yoga Group,

I hope that you have had a great summer! If you did not hear the good news, the MS Center has agreed sponsor our yoga classes with Jeannie Stevens for a longer period of time this year. Classes will run every second Thursday starting on September 7th and continue through to, and including, June. There will be just one class in December. The class will be from 10 to 11 a.m.

Perhaps you saw the newsletter from the MS Center, but if not, here is how to register: phone 250-388-6496. Then request extension 7301. Kelly will answer and register you for the class.

We are welcoming new members. If you know of someone who is interested, please have them call and register and let me know so that I can put them on the email list for reminder notices, any cancellations or changes to the schedule. Does anyone know if the new, younger woman who just joined in the spring came to any of the yoga sessions? If so, I need her contact info. Katie plans to send a poster about this class out to the peninsula; we can then post them in prominent places in the community.
